RENO, NV – Forbes Magazine has released its global list of “The Most Trustworthy Companies,” with Monarch Casino Resort, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRI) (“Monarch”) ranking near the top! With the help of an independent financial analytics company, Audit Integrity, Forbes compiled a list of companies, which in Forbes’ opinion, provide the least amount of risk to investors. Monarch, owner of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV, is one of only 48 companies to rank in the top 2% of Forbes’ “Most Trustworthy Companies” list. According to Forbes, the rating criteria was based on the risk that a company’s stock prices might fall precipitously or that company practices might lead to fraud charges or class-action lawsuits. Companies deemed to have low risk in these areas were classified as the most trustworthy, and were awarded favorable scores by Audit Integrity. The research firm studies more than 8,000 publicly traded companies, and provides data based on its Accounting and Governance Risk (AGR) ratings. Monarch CEO, John Farahi was very pleased with the company’s inclusion, and said, “This recognition is the result of years of efforts spent assembling a hard working, honest and responsible team, which serves our guests and investors with integrity.”
